The unveiling of the College Park Center at the University of Texas Arlington is a good sign of their promise to rebuild the local area. The main roof points like one giant finger to what is to become the center of college life.
The most prominent feature up close is the large windows that bathe game goers with natural light as they enter the stadium. With two main sections of seating close down to the action and further seating higher up, all will be welcome to enjoy the games, which will be played at the center.
The higher seating has been perfectly designed to allow even those right at the back to feel like part of the action. The university spent around $1.2 million on the Daktronics Video Board that takes up center stage, allowing all who attend to be in the middle of the action.
The Center is part of a 20 acre development that includes a retail/living area, which is still being built at the moment.
